Character Creation: Big, Bold, and Believable 6h workshop with Sarah McGillion

București, pe Comanita nr.9

Wanna bring bigger, bolder and at the same time believable characters on stage? This is the workshop for you.

Characters in improv create energy and excitement. Believable characters bring credibility to a scene when they act true to themselves. We can keep our improv fresh and challenge ourselves continuously by creating characters from a broad spectrum, from ones that are close to ourselves to ones that are heightened and fantastical. In this intensive workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the depth and versatility of character work in improv comedy.

If you find it difficult to create distinctive characters, find it hard to maintain and sustain a character throughout a set, or want to deepen your character’s believability, then this workshop is definitely for you.

You will explore your capacity to find unique qualities that bring your characters to life on stage. You’ll also learn how to use your voice, body, and facial expressions to fully embody your characters and actively make truthful choices in any scenario thrown at you.
